Assalamoaliekum
I am new here and thsi is my very first post. How and where is every one?
Here is a hadeeth(saying of the holy Prophet Muhammed (SAW))
13: Volume: 1, Book Number: 10, Hadith Number: 548
Narrated Abu Bakr bin Abi Musa:My father said, "Allah's Apostle said, 'Whoever prays the two cool prayers ('Asr and Fajr) will go to Paradise.' "
so this hadeeth explains the importance of prayer. It doesnt mean that we just have to pray 2 prayers(fajar and asr) All prayers are compulsry and obligatory for every Muslim.
fajr is the time in very early morning. It is reeli difficult to get up from a warm bed and make wudu and pray....but not for a believer.A believer is the one who loves Allah so cant he just get up in the morning for his GOD??Is it that difficult??Is the comfort of the warm bed better than fire of hell? We r given the choice now Its up to us which is the right way to follow......................
jazakallah kahir for reading

Islamic Jokes

Here is the story of an Imam who got up after Friday prayers and announced to the people: "I have good news and bad news. The good news is, we have enough money to pay for our new building program. The bad news is, it's still out there in your pockets."

--

Once, the people of the city invited Mulla Nasruddin to deliver a speech. When he got on the minbar (pulpit), he found the audience was not very enthusiastic, so he asked "Do you know what I am going to say?" The audience replied "NO", so he announced "I have no desire to speak to people who don't even know what I will be talking about" and he left. The people felt embarrassed and called him back again the next day. This time when he asked the same question, the people replied "YES" So Mullah Nasruddin said, "Well, since you already know what I am going to say, I won't waste any more of your time" and he left. Now the people were really perplexed. They decided to try one more time and once again invited the Mullah to speak the following week. Once again he asked the same question - "Do you know what I am going to say?" Now the people were prepared and so half of them answered "YES" while the other half replied "NO". So Mullah Nasruddin said "The half who know what I am going to say, tell it to the other half" and he left!

--

"When I was in the desert," said Nasruddin one day, "I caused an entire tribe of horrible and bloodthirsty bedouins to run.""However did you do it?" asked a person."Easy. I just ran, and they ran after me."

Virtues of Praying Two Rak`ahs After Wudu

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Bilal, “O Bilal, tell me what good deed you have done in Islam that I hear the sound of your footsteps in Paradise?
Bilal said, “That after I purify myself during the day or night, I pray with that purification as much as Allah has destined for me(Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

`Uqbah ibn `Amir related that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “If one performs and perfects his ablution and prays two rak`ahs with his heart and face (completely on his prayer), Paradise becomes his (Muslim, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, and Ibn Khuzaimah).
